Implementation path

  1. Browser captures card image without storing it by default.
  2. Server extracts card fields with an LLM when OPENAI_API_KEY is configured.
  3. Server sends a JSON 270 eligibility request to Stedi when STEDI_API_KEY is configured.
  4. Returned 271-style benefits are normalized for estimates and transparency.
